The UKRA
The UKRA represents members' views and interests both nationally and internationally, ensuring the sustainability
of the industry and its long term viability. The UKRA exists to promote good practice and to raise the profile of
the rendering industry and its efforts to produce products and renewable fuels in an environmentally friendly way.
To promote and project, the benefits and the importance of the industry to other industry sectors in the feed and
food chains the UKRA has adopted as its objectives:

- To represent the views of members in consultation with DEFRA/EA/EFPRA/WRO and other bodies about legislative and
other issues;
- To provide timely, informed analysis to Full members on all relevant matters;
- To listen to the views of members, offering information and guidance;
- To inform, educate and guide ministers, civil servants, NGO's and legislators.
